Samsung Heavy Industries has established a sustainable supply chain management policy to build a transparent and responsible supply chain ecosystem, ensuring that all management activities contribute to the sustainable development of diverse stakeholders, including those in areas such as the environment, labor and human rights, and corporate ethics.

The new policy applies internationally compliant human rights and labor principles throughout the entire supply chain and stipulates a management and support system for its suppliers.

To enhance the effectiveness of this policy, Samsung Heavy Industries has established a monitoring and evaluation system to proactively identify potential or actual negative impacts across the supply chain. Furthermore, the company plans to pursue mutual growth and shared prosperity by operating ESG capacity building programs and implementing improvement activities for its suppliers.
