In 2019, the new evaluation system was introduced by supplementing the existing evaluation system, and based on this, the company decided to compensate for personnel-related decisions
and performance. For fair and objective performance evaluation, evaluator training is provided, and evaluation fairness is improved by operating a high-performance decision-making meeting
and introducing multi-faceted evaluation.

Samsung Heavy Industries complies with the UN ILO Convention and the Labor laws of the local country that conducts business activities.
As a result, we are conducting our responsibilities for protecting the human rights of all employees, and we are taking care to expand the scope to Tier 2 and 3 suppliers,
including sub-contrators to improve working conditions.

Samsung Heavy Industries prohibits discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, etc. and creates a culture that recognizes and supports diversity and inclusion as the main values of
human rights management.
Parental leave is available to both men and women, and convenience facilities such as a "maternal protection room" for pregnant women are also provided to strengthen the maternal protection of
female members.
We are also trying to make sure that everyone feels a sense of belonging through mutual respect and consideration for minority groups such as disabled and foreign workers.
Operation of a labor-management council
Samsung Heavy Industries is striving to make a culture of trust and cooperation between management and labor through effective communication with the labor-management council
which plays a crucial role in addressing important issues, such as salary and work conditions, with decisions benefiting all employees.
