Samsung Heavy Industries held an ESG workshop for members of Seongjohoe, an association of excellent suppliers, on December 12th. The workshop introduced the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and discussed challenges.

The workshop utilized external lecturers to enhance expertise and credibility, and a pre-survey of participating companies was conducted to select topics and deliver customized lectures. Samsung Heavy Industries plans to continue to hold regular workshops in 2025 to foster ongoing discussions on ESG.
