Samsung announced on the 1st that it would provide early payment of 870 billion won worth of goods prior to the Chuseok holiday to alleviate the financial burden of partner companies. Twelve affiliates, including Samsung Heavy Industries, will participate in this, and each company plans to pay up to 15 days earlier than the original payment date. Since 2011, major Samsung affiliates have been paying the payment cycle of goods payments from twice a month to three to four times a month so that partners can operate the funds on a planned basis.

In addition, Samsung has opened an online marketplace for employees to revitalize the domestic economy. Seventeen locations, including Samsung Heavy Industries, are participating in the online market, and they are making continuous efforts to help SMEs generate stable profits.
