In March 24, Samsung Heavy Industries introduced an ESG KPI/MBO to enhance the effectiveness and performance of ESG management and create corporate value. In 2023, the company introduced a performance management system that evaluates the achievement rate of seven environmental tasks and progress on improvement tasks by ESG sector, and in 2024, it reflected the results in the ESG KPI/MBO evaluation for executives, laying the foundation for continuous performance of ESG management.

A Samsung Heavy Industries official said the company will continue to upgrade its performance evaluation to identify, prevent and mitigate ESG risks that may affect or have an impact on Samsung Heavy Industries in the future.
