Samsung Heavy Industries announced on 22 that it has received one marine production facility order from an Asian shipowner.

The contract amount is KRW 1.9611 trillion (about $1.5 billion), 29.6% of sales in 2021, and the facility will be delivered by August 2027.

"This contract is a marine project that has been clinched for the first time in three years since the Indian Reliance`s RUBY FPSO order in 2019, and it will help secure stable marine work", said an official from SHI.
